Wiley Vet is the definition of a truly American company. The wood in our products is sourced from the Appalachian mountains. Our products are made just outside Wilmington, North Carolina by hand, by American service men and women. It all started when Eric and Gabe Chandler met Tom Dean at a home show in Wilmington NC. The Chandler brothers have a gifting company that offers practical, high quality products used on a daily basis to realtors and entrepreneurs as closing and appreciation gifts.
Eric describes it best, "We're at this event and we stumble upon Tom Dean who’s family has been in the wood working and manufacturing business for 5 generations. Tom was promoting his cutting board business while we were selling Cutco kitchen knives. Working together just made sense." Tom and the Chandlers started making branded cutting boards to fill a need the Chandler's network of successful business owners had.
With sales increasing the Chandler brothers visited the manufacturing plant to find the staff that was making their cutting boards were all military veterans. That is when the idea came about to use a cutting board business to impact the veteran community and Wilmy Vet Boards was born. Now Wilmy Vet Boards strives to help employ as many Veterans as possible and give back 10% of profits to support Veterans in need.
Our Cause Supporting Veterans in need. We are a for profit company aiming to make a real impact on the community by donating 10% of our profits to our cause. We take pride in finding real needs in the Veteran community and giving directly to those needs to have the biggest impact possible. The impact we aim for can stretch from helping Veterans with job placement and skill development, to helping disabled veterans gain back simple luxuries they once had. This creates real change that leads to the betterment of the men and women who put their lives on the line to serve our country and protect our freedoms as Americans. Our mission is to offer Veterans a job opportunity they can be proud of by serving our clients with best in class products they can be proud of purchasing.
